Ashton Miller (JJBA)
(they/them) | Born April 1st, 1969 | Self-made Stand userAsh is, seemingly, a free spirit, not caring about how others feel about their actions or appearance. A tumultuous childhood and the death of their best friend leaves them scorned by society at large, looking down on people who conform to social pressures. They are careless regarding others' feelings to the point of rudeness.
Their relationship with Jotaro is very much a push-and-pull. Both Ash and Jotaro have problems with committment and grief due to a shared survivor's guilt complex. The two tow the line between colleagues with benefits and something more, unwilling to put a name on the bond they share.
Cinnabarite (Steven Universe)
(she/he/they) | Facet-91X Cut-6F | 6,700 Earth years oldCinnabarite was formed to torture and interrogate rebel and off-color gems, and was assigned as the Head Scourger of the Earth colony. To ensure that she does her job well, she is allowed to physically or psychologically torture rebels by any means she deems necessary, but is expressly forbidden from shattering any gem.
Shortly after the beginning of Era 3, her entire existence as a gem is put into question as state-sanctioned violence is quickly outlawed by the Diamond Authority. Unable to make connections with other gems due to her previous occupation, they visit Earth in order to find a new purpose. She runs into one of the old war heroes of the war for Earth, Jasper.
Despite being a former torturer, Cinna is very open to learning about and adapting to human culture. He often drags Jasper into his shennanigans, which she finds gaudy and distasteful. However, she can't help but respect (and enjoy) that Cinna still has a commanding, confident personality even after the fall of their empire.
Altis (Hades 2)
(they/them) | Satyr | Cursed by an OceanidAltis used to be a stereotypical satyr, one of Pan's sons who would spend their time raising hell on Earth. One day, however, after becoming infatuated with and pursuing an Oceanid, they become cursed by her, losing the one thing that made them a satyr.
After becoming sexless, Altis takes up a life of crime, robbing houses of their valuables, food, and wine. They are constantly chasing their next adrenaline high, going to further and further lengths to put themself in danger, leading them to the outskirts of Ephyra, which has been taken over by the undead.
Altis meets Polyphemus as they are robbing him of his wine; Altis begs for their life, agreeing to do chores on the homestead for the next season. The two end up bonding over being fooled by someone else taking advantage of them, and losing the one thing that made them who they were, or at least, who they thought they were.
Ashton (Dorohedoro)
(they/them) | 25 years old | the original AshtonAsh is a human masquerading as a sorcerer, looking to find a way to produce magic without the use of magicians or devils. Of course, this is only to see if they can even do it, not for any ulterior motive.
After being attacked in an alley by some sorcerers, Ash meets Noi. She offers to help them move the bodies to their apartment for study, in exchange for a homecooked meal. It doesn't take long for it to dawn on Ash whom it is that's helping them, and they are very intimidated by the prospect of her finding out about them secretly being a human.
Due to Noi's healing magic, she becomes a prime candidate for Ash to study. She often comes over for Ash to poke, prod, and cut open with no repurcussions. The two grow closer despite Ash's reluctance, and begin to form a quaint relationship with one another.
